This past week I was asked to review samples of True Lemon. I didn’t expect to receive so many products. Along with baking mixes, I got items for drinks—lemonade mixes and single-serve packets to flavor water.
A few days after the True Lemon package arrived, I also received several types of fish from the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute. Seeing all that salmon, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with the True Lemon products.
I decided to make Parmesan Crusted Grilled Salmon using the True Lemon baking powders.
I used two salmon fillets for this recipe.

I topped one side of each salmon fillet with the breadcrumb and parmesan coating. The breading recipe is listed below.

Next, I placed the fillets on the grill alongside some vegetables.

The result was a delicious piece of salmon with minimal “fishy” flavor. It was a success!

Parmesan Grilled Salmon
Ingredients
- 2 Salmon fillets
- 1/4 Cup Bread crumbs or gluten-free bread crumbs
- 1/2 Cup Grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 Tsp True Lemon baking powder
- 1/2 Tsp True Lime baking powder
- 2 Tbsp Melted butter
- 3 Tbsp Light mayonnaise
Instructions
-
Mix the breading ingredients thoroughly. Spread the mixture over one side of each salmon fillet. Place the fillets on a medium-heat grill and cook for about 10–12 minutes per side. Be careful when flipping to keep the breading intact.
-
The salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork.
