With back-to-school season here, I wanted to share a fresh set of printables that teachers, parents, and homeschoolers will find useful. As a former teacher, I design resources that are practical, kid-friendly, and easy to implement.

This free bundle includes eight distinct reading logs that cover a variety of needs: daily minutes tracking, a weekly log, a colorful book color-in chart for youngest readers, a rating-based log, a detailed book log for older students, a parent-initials reading record, an Accelerated Reader (AR) log, and a summer reading tracker.

Each printable is formatted to be simple to use, visually clear, and flexible enough to fit classroom or at-home reading routines. They are free to download and many are editable so you can tailor them to your specific classroom or family needs.

How to Print Your PDFs

Click any of the download buttons to open a PDF in a new tab. From there you can click the printer icon to print immediately or use the download option to save the file to your device.

These pages are set up for standard 8.5 x 11″ printer paper. An at-home inkjet or laser printer works well. For added durability, print on cardstock if you want the logs to last through the school year or summer.

All of these printables are editable using Canva, a free and user-friendly online design tool. You can change colors, fonts, and layout elements to match your classroom theme or personal preference before printing.

Open the printable in Canva, make the adjustments you want, then download or print the customized version. Editing allows you to add a classroom name, student names, or other details to make the logs uniquely yours.
