Pizza for breakfast!
Sometimes I get so wrapped up in creating new recipes that I forget to mention other treats I’m enjoying. This morning’s breakfast was practically magazine-worthy — too pretty not to share:

A few years back this breakfast pizza was one of the most popular recipes on my site. It wasn’t always called “breakfast pizza.” At first I named it the “pizzert.” I used that name for over a year until someone mentioned they couldn’t get behind the recipe because they were pronouncing “pizzert” to rhyme with “lizard.” Yikes!
So yes — this recipe definitely needed a better name.

Edit: I couldn’t pick a single winner based on the best suggestion because I liked so many of them :). Instead I selected a random winner: Alanna.
For now the recipe will remain Breakfast Pizza — although I’ll still secretly call it Pizzert ;).
