Week 185: My iPhone Photo Highlights

This week felt long — in a good way: full and restorative. A weekend away at Mom 2.0 seemed to reset things at home; maybe we all needed a little distance. Coming back, everyone is happier to be together. Even though much of the week was spent in waiting rooms and doctors’ offices, we finished it in New York City. The kids were great sports (we made them walk everywhere) and a lot of fun to be with when they weren’t pushing our buttons.

Sunday:

These are my “before” flowerpots, but that didn’t stop her from trying to take care of them.

saturday3

I think our last family picture (selfie or otherwise) was in October. We heart NYC.

By the end of the weekend my left hip was acting up — out of joint, sprained, or otherwise sore — and I could barely walk. Ironically, I finally found my sense of direction in New York because we walked everywhere. I’m pretty sure even the gingers will sleep in tomorrow.

On a brighter note, I got an awesome new stroller that’s motivating me to get back to Stroller Strides. If my hip cooperates, maybe we’ll make it this week.
